About us: an independent private portal for patients and their families

Solidaroba.ge helps people who, after a serious diagnosis, have to deal with documents, bureaucracy and practical arrangements. We do not treat patients and we do not fund treatment. We do what comes before and after treatment: translation, certification, applications, communication with clinics and logistics.

The domain's history: why we are not the Solidarity Fund

For years the domain solidaroba.ge belonged to the Solidarity Fund of Georgia, a state-founded organisation that still operates and runs part of the state referral programme, but through other, official channels. The fund stopped using this domain, and it is now owned and run by a private company. If you are looking for the fund, this guide explains where to turn.

Three things follow from this, and we repeat them on every page of the site:

  • We have no connection with the fund or with state agencies. Not legal, not financial, not informational. The fund's old documents, applications and data are not held by us, and we have no access to them.
  • We do not collect donations and we do not pay for treatment. If anyone asks for money in the name of Solidaroba.ge, it is fraud. Our bank details appear only on an invoice for services you have ordered.
  • We cannot represent the fund. If you were looking for a fund programme, contact the fund through its official channels. We can only help you prepare documents for an application, as we would for any other source of funding.

We do not hide the domain's history and we do not try to gain trust from it. That is why this statement stands at the top and bottom of every page of the site and cannot be closed.

Who we are and whom we serve

Solidaroba.ge is a private service portal operated by Solidaroba. This platform was created for families who, alongside treatment, carry the burden of paperwork, deadlines and correspondence in foreign languages.

Our service brings together in one place the tasks a family usually handles separately, in different offices: translating and certifying documents, apostille, correspondence with clinics, legal applications and travel arrangements.

Most often, four groups come to us:

  • Patients and their relatives, who are planning treatment abroad and need their medical records translated and sent to a clinic.
  • Families looking for funding who need help preparing an application, supporting certificates or an appeal against a refusal.
  • Georgians living abroad, who need to handle a relative's affairs in Georgia remotely, by power of attorney.
  • Clinics and companies that need regular translation of medical documents or courier delivery of correspondence.

Each request is assigned to one coordinator. They tell you what stage the case is at, who is working on it and what the next step will be, so you do not have to tell the same story several times.

How we earn our income: a transparent business model

Solidaroba.ge is a commercial company and earns its income from fees for services that the client agrees to in writing before ordering. We receive no money from the state, from funds or from private donors.

  • Fees only for work ordered. We quote the cost of translation, certification, consultation or arrangements in advance, and list state fees, notary charges and other third-party costs as separate lines on the invoice.
  • We take no share of funding obtained. If an application prepared with our help is approved or a campaign raises money, our fee stays exactly as agreed when you ordered.
  • We take no commission from partners unless we have disclosed it in advance. We choose a clinic, courier or airline according to your needs, not according to who pays us what. If such an arrangement exists with any partner, we tell you in writing before you order.
  • Places in our guides are not for sale. A mention of a clinic, bank or company in our texts is not paid advertising and cannot be bought.

We have written these rules down because, at the time of a serious diagnosis, people are especially vulnerable to unnecessary costs and vague terms. If you see an amount on an invoice that we did not agree in advance, ask us before you pay.

Who is behind the platform

Solidaroba.ge is a new brand, but the professional team behind it is not. The platform's two main areas, legal and translation, are covered by established partner organisations.

  • Advocat.Ge

A legal consultancy whose lawyers carry out every legal service on this site: funding applications and appeals against refusals, medical and insurance disputes, wills, powers of attorney, and guardianship and support procedures. You are told in writing who the lawyers are when each case begins.

  • Specialised translation bureau

  • targmanebi.ge translation bureau

A translation and interpreting bureau with its main office on Aghmashenebeli Avenue in Tbilisi and branches in Batumi and Kutaisi. The bureau provides interpreting and the translation of standard documents in dozens of languages, with notarisation, and steps in when you need an interpreter on site, at a notary or at a public office.

    Role
Interpreting, less common languages, notarised translation
    Website

Other services (clinics, courier companies, airlines, the cleaning team, equipment suppliers) are provided by partner organisations, which we name before each order. Our role in these cases is organisation and coordination.

Four rules we follow on every order

  • Price and timing before work starts

We look at the document, assess it and give you the exact price and timing in writing. We start work only once you confirm. The assessment is free and puts you under no obligation.

  • You know in advance who does what

Before you order, you are told in writing what we do ourselves, what Advocat.Ge or the bureau does and what a partner organisation does. There are no unknown contractors.

  • We do not make medical decisions

We do not diagnose, choose treatment or assess a clinic's medical decisions. Translation, organisation and legal help are not medical advice.

  • Confidentiality by default

Your medical documents are seen only by the specialist working on your case; files are stored securely and deleted once the case is closed. Details are in the privacy policy.

How we check translation quality

In a medical text, a single wrong figure or abbreviation can affect a clinic's decision. That is why every translation goes through four stages before it reaches you.

  1. Setting the terminology

Before we start, we confirm which country and institution the document is going to, because a clinic, an embassy and a court often require different terms for the same concept. If the recipient has its own terminology requirements, we ask for them in advance.

  2. Translation by a subject specialist

The text is translated by a translator who works in the relevant field, so an oncology discharge summary and a court decision go to different people. Diagnosis codes, doses, dates and laboratory values are carried over exactly as they appear in the original.

  3. Check by a second reader

A second specialist compares the finished translation with the original and checks figures, proper names, abbreviations and missing lines. Any discrepancy found is discussed by both specialists, who agree on the correction together.

  4. Format and delivery

The final version follows the structure of the original: tables, stamps and signatures are marked in their places so that the recipient can compare the two documents side by side. Notarisation or an apostille, if included in the order, begins only after the check is complete.

If a clinic or agency asks for a correction to the translation, write to us: we keep files for 30 days after the service is completed precisely so that we can respond to such requests quickly.

How we protect your data

A diagnosis, test results and treatment history are special category personal data under the law, and stricter rules apply to processing them. Our internal procedures are built precisely on these requirements.

  • Only what is needed. We ask for the documents we actually need to carry out the order, not the entire medical history every time.
  • Access by case. A file is seen only by the translator, lawyer or coordinator working on your order, and a partner receives only the part its work requires.
  • Retention period. Copies of originals and translations are deleted 30 days after the service is completed. If no order is placed, uploaded files are also deleted automatically within 30 days, or sooner if you ask.
  • No advertising, no selling. We do not use medical data for marketing or profiling, or sell it to third parties.

The full rules, including how to request a copy, correction or deletion of your data, are set out in the privacy policy.

How we write and check our guides

The free guides on this site about funding programmes, documents and treatment abroad are all prepared to the same standard:

  • Sources: the information is based on current legislation, the official rules of agencies and our practical experience. Assumptions are presented as assumptions.
  • Review: an Advocat.Ge lawyer checks the legal content and the bureau's editor checks the medical terminology. Each page states who reviewed it and when.
  • Updates: every page shows the date it was last updated. When programme conditions change we update the page, and we flag outdated information until it is updated.
  • Limits: a guide is general information and cannot replace a doctor's or lawyer's advice on a specific case. This is stated on every page of the site, and we mean it.

The detailed rules, including on sources, corrections, conflicts of interest and the use of digital tools, are set out in the editorial policy.

Frequently asked questions about the company

Is Solidaroba.ge the legal successor of the Solidarity Fund?

No. None of the fund's obligations, archives, programmes or applications have passed to us, and we have no legal or financial connection with them. The only thing linking the fund and us is the domain name, which now belongs to a private company.

How does Solidaroba.ge earn its income?

Only from fees for services ordered, and we tell you the amount in writing before you place the order. We take no percentage of funding obtained or money raised, and we disclose any financial arrangement with a partner before you order.

Who does the translation and the legal work?

Translations are done by translationbureau.ge translators registered with a notary, and every text is read by a second specialist. Legal matters are handled by Advocat.Ge lawyers. We tell you the name of the person doing your work when the case begins.

How long do you keep my medical documents?

Files from a completed order are kept for another 30 days so that we can correct the translation or send it again if needed, and are then deleted. Files from a request that did not become an order are also removed within 30 days, and in either case we will delete them sooner if you ask.

Where can I find the company details?

The legal name, identification code and address are in the company details section of this page and are repeated in the footer of every page. The same details appear on every invoice and contract.

Have a question this page does not answer?
